When an entire country of people has lost themselves and there’s no going back, we are forced to go forward.

Once, there was a moral question: should we create the cellphone? Should we create thousands of apps for people to live on? Should we let our people forget the many places we come from?

That question is gone. It no longer exists. Without a direct response from the public, it was answered for us by the elite.

As the largest military power in the world, we are the most vulnerable, the most naïve, the most paranoid.

After brief surges of action and consciousness, the moral endurance of our country wears thin, and we rest. Every so often, we reawaken to see that our problems have not solved themselves. 

We are forced to go forward.
