Love is a powerful force. It’s not magic, yet it is powerful enough to influence our minds positively. We are all connected to those who have been left out and locked out, who are refused support, opportunity, and a path in life to rely on.

We cannot sit down and wait for the darkness of poverty to end. It takes an everyday person to notice and bravely walk forward. We must say to each other, “The world loves you. You will pull forward. You are not alone in your struggles.”

Indeed, all people share struggles. When we join in action, seeing each other’s similarities, we feel connected. The issues that we face are all interrelated, and to overcome one struggle requires us to work on overcoming all struggles. Let’s help each other keep hope alive. Shine a beacon of empathy on one another to show those around us that they are loved. We are not struggling for greater human dignity alone.
