Our countries are thousands
of miles away from each other
on different continents,
but we both eat rice with
vegetables and salad.
Look at the small details and see we are painted
by the same brush.
Your glazed chicken and mine fill our respective
homes with a familiar aroma.
We are more similar than we are different.
